We Japanese people highly respect their privacy. The reason we didn't welcome them at the airport this time when they came to Japan is because we want them to relax even a little bit during their entry, considering they are always pursued wherever they go. The Japanese fandom has established rules when they visit Japan.

We understand that in other countries, fans are often allowed to take photos even during fan meetings. However, in Japan, except for moments when photography is explicitly permitted during the fan meeting, it has been a rule to prohibit photography. While they are often faced with numerous cameras, and more often than making eye contact with us during their performances, they make eye contact with cameras. Since photography was prohibited this time, and not many fans had smartphones with them, we believe they enjoyed and appreciated seeing the expressions of many fans. We Japanese fans respect their privacy, and we want them to enjoy sightseeing in Japan without being exposed to cameras and curious looks during their stay. Therefore, even if you happen to encounter them while they are touring in Japan, we have established a rule to silently leave without approaching them or taking sneak photos. We hope that you can understand and respect our hospitality and our desire to protect their privacy. As Japanese people, we take pride in the good manners of the Japanese fandom and in the fact that Japan is an environment where their privacy and safety can be respected and ensured. We kindly request your cooperation in following the rules of the Japanese fandom while they are in Japan. We understand the desire to capture their private moments, but we sincerely hope that, at least during their time in Japan, they can experience freedom and peaceful. We also hope that no more private photos or videos of them will circulate during their stay in Japan. Thank you.
