 A full-circle rainbow appeared beneath the world’s highest bridge during a dramatic water-curtain show.

The Huajiang Canyon Bridge in Guizhou Province, China, stands approximately 625 meters (about 2,050 feet) above the Beipan River, making it the highest bridge on Earth. During the show, water is released from the bridge deck in a wide cascading curtain. As sunlight strikes the rising mist, it creates a rare and complete circular rainbow suspended in the air far below the roadway.

The effect is both natural and engineered: the water comes from diverted karst groundwater captured during construction and is intentionally sprayed to form this striking visual spectacle. The result is a breathtaking scene that combines modern engineering with pure optical beauty.
