"One day, Gisele, who is really into astrology, basically looked into the stars and told Tom, 'We're not compatible,' and just like that, she was done," reads an excerpt published in the Daily Mail.
Anderson writes that Bündchen wanted Brady to retire from football as early as 2017, though his decision to continue playing put strain on their marriage.
According to Anderson, after Brady and the New England Patriots won the 2019 Super Bowl, Bündchen asked: "Would now be the perfect time to retire?"
"Too bad, babe. I'm having too much fun right now," Brady allegedly responded.

Anderson's book also claims that Bündchen wrote Brady a pointed message after the Patriots lost the 2018 Super Bowl.
"She needed him to be present when he was at home, not responding to text messages on his constantly buzzing cell phone or replaying a game in his mind," the author writes. "She needed more help with the kids. She needed the chance to sleep in just a few days a week. She needed more time for her own career."
A friend of Brady's explained how his career might have caused tension within his marriage.

"The guy gets up at the crack of dawn, thinks all day about a game that is foreign to his wife, comes home and is in bed each night by nine," the source said, according to Anderson. "He can't really eat out or go out without causing a scene. Everything he puts in his mouth tastes like shit. The whole lifestyle had to be getting tiresome for Gisele."
After playing with the Patriots for nearly two decades, Brady signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2020, though he eventually retired in 2023.
Brady and Bündchen share two children—Vivian and Benjamin—while Brady also has a son named Jack from his relationship with Bridget Moynahan. Bündchen has since remarried, tying the knot with jiu-jitsu instructor Joaquim Valente in 2025. The couple welcomed their first child that same year.
